We will pick you up from your hotel between 6:35 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. to begin an unforgettable full-day journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Located at an altitude of 2,790 meters (9,150 feet), this breathtaking valley is a treasure trove of history, culture, and natural beauty. The tour includes the most iconic sites of Chinchero, Moray, Maras, Urubamba, Ollantaytambo, and Pisac—each showcasing the remarkable ingenuity and legacy of the Inca civilization.

Our first stop is Chinchero, a charming Andean village that has preserved its rich textile traditions and historical heritage. Here, we’ll spend approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes exploring the Palace of the Nine Inca King Tupac Yupanqui, the beautiful colonial church adorned with original frescoes from the 15th and 17th centuries, and the adjacent archaeological site.

We’ll then drive about 35 minutes to reach Moray, an impressive Inca agricultural laboratory featuring concentric terraces where the Incas studied crop cultivation across different microclimates. Next, we’ll visit the famous Salt Mines of Maras, a spectacular network of over 4,000 salt pools still in use today by local families using ancestral methods. We’ll spend around 40 minutes exploring both of these fascinating locations.

Our journey continues to Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley, where you’ll enjoy a delicious buffet lunch with a variety of traditional Peruvian dishes.

In the afternoon, we’ll explore Ollantaytambo, one of the last remaining living Inca towns. Known for its massive stone terraces and ceremonial sites, this ancient fortress played a vital role in resisting Spanish conquest. You’ll have time to walk through its stone streets and marvel at its historical significance.

Our final stop is Pisac, famous for its impressive archaeological site overlooking the valley and its vibrant artisan market. You’ll have around 30 to 40 minutes to explore the ruins and browse unique handicrafts made by local artisans.

We will return to Cusco around 7:00 p.m., with drop-off located approximately 2 to 3 blocks from the main square. This full-day experience is the perfect blend of archaeology, culture, and stunning scenery in the heart of the Andes.
